Westminster had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They never let the Lovett Lions get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Thursday. Considering the Wildcats have won five matchups by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The win got Westminster back to even at 5-5. As for Lovett, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Coming up, Westminster will face off against Centennial at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lovett, they will challenge Washington at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.4 runs per game on average), something the Lions will no doubt try to take advantage of.
