Baseball Recap: Dunwoody Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Dunwoody couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 7-2 to the River Ridge Knights on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Knights this season, with their most recent defeat being a 6-0 loss on Tuesday.

Dunwoody saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Luftig, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Dunwoody and nudges their season record down to 30-5. As for River Ridge, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Dunwoody nor River Ridge have any future games scheduled.
