Rabun County barely beat Towns County the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Indians with a sharp 19-9 victory on Wednesday. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won three in a row.

River Evans was incredible, going 3-for-5 with one home run, six RBI, and four runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in August of 2024. Madeline Suarez also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Rabun County's victory bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Towns County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

Rabun County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 10-9 defeat against Oglethorpe County on the 11th. As for Towns County, they have also already played their next contest, a 9-1 loss against Lincoln County on the 11th.
