Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask San Marino). Their defense stepped up to hand the Blair Vikings a 7-0 shutout on Friday. The win was some much needed relief for the Titans as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Their offense was hitting Blair from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Kayla Giddings led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

San Marino's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 4-8. As for Blair, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10-2.

San Marino will face off against Temple City at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Temple City is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3 goals per game this season. As for Blair, they are taking a road trip to take on La Canada at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. La Canada will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Blair surely won't give up without a fight.
