Central Gwinnett is 6-1 against South Gwinnett since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Black Knights will welcome the Comets at 7:30 p.m. Central Gwinnett has now lost 15 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since February 6.

While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was Tucker who was credited with the victory last Thursday. The Tigers got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Central Gwinnett's two. While losing is never fun, Central Gwinnett can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 295th, while Tucker are ranked 108th).

South Gwinnett's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Friday. They blew past Rockdale County 5-0. South Gwinnett haven't had any issues with Rockdale County recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

South Gwinnett's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-9-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those three matches. As for Central Gwinnett, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-15.

Central Gwinnett took their victory against South Gwinnett when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Black Knights repeat their success, or do the Comets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
