Softball Recap: Greene County Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Win

Greene County had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Roland-Story Norsemen. This was a revenge game for the Rams: when they faced off against the Norsemen on June 2nd, they had to take a 6-3 loss.

Greene County's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Roland-Story, they dropped their record down to 9-9 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Greene County will host Northwest Webster at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Roland-Story, they will venture away from home to take on West Marshall at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
