Megan Schmidt Game Report: @ Montgomery County

North Callaway was sadly handed a defeat on Thursday, but Megan Schmidt did her best to prevent it. Schmidt struck out six batters over six innings while giving up four earned (and three unearned) runs off eight hits (and not a single walk). The effort also marked the fewest walks (zero) she has had since back in September of 2024.

Schmidt and North Callaway will head out on the road to square off against Harrisburg at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The last time Schmidt duked it out with the Bulldogs (back in September of 2024), the Thunderbirds came out on top by a score of 17-0. Will another strong game from Schmidt be enough to do it again?
