Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Scranton). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the West Scranton Invaders 51-6. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 21-0.

Among those leading the charge was Brody Coyle, who rushed for 45 yards and two scores, and also threw for 135 yards and one TD. That's the most rushing touchdowns he has posted since back in September of 2024. Kamani Sterling was Coyle's top target, picking up 41 receiving yards, while also rushing for 40 yards and one touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Scranton was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 224 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Another reason for the win was Scranton's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. Matt Lake refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself.

Meanwhile, West Scranton (ranked 426th) will meet Wilkes-Barre (ranked 140th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
