While Linn's victory against Vienna wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wildcats skirted past the Eagles 7-5. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won three in a row.

Ava Warren spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned runs on eight hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kenzy Hackmann, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Sophia Voss, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Linn's victory bumped their record up to 16-4. As for Vienna, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
