Soccer Recap: Santa Ana Valley Takes a Loss

If Santa Ana Valley was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Samueli Academy back in December of 2024, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Santa Ana Valley Falcons lost 6-1 to the Magnolia Sentinels on Tuesday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Falcons were already down 3-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Genesis Camberos, which was the first she's scored this season.

Santa Ana Valley's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-4-2. As for Magnolia, their victory bumped their record up to 7-9-2.

Santa Ana Valley wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Santiago on the 9th. As for Magnolia, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Western on the 9th.
