Sophia Garcia Game Report: vs Gunn

Passers beware: Sophia Garcia came down with her first-ever interception on Saturday and she's no doubt on the hunt for more. She made two total tackles and snagged two interceptions, but sadly Madera South still had to take a 13-6 loss at the hands of Gunn. We hope Garcia's good performance is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Looking ahead, Garcia and Madera South are taking a road trip to challenge Mendota at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Garcia had to take a defeat the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their game two weeks ago 18-0. Could another big game from her be enough to change the outcome this time?
