Softball Recap: Rangeview Raiders vs. Denver South Ravens
Rangeview had lost five straight at home, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 3-15-1 to make it six. They lost 13-1 to the Denver South Ravens. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Ravens this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-2 on September 4th.
Rangeview saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shannon Henry, who went 1-for-2 with one double.
As for Denver South, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-9. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by six runs or more this season.
On Denver South's side, Emma Gibson was incredible, firing off three home runs and seven RBI while going 3-for-3. That's the most RBI Gibson has posted since back in August. Kynley Price was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
Rangeview didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 19-9 victory against Thomas Jefferson on the 1st. As for Denver South, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 10-6 win against Denver North on the 2nd.
