Baseball Recap: Thursday's Loss Ends Wauconda's Winning Streak

Wauconda played against Grayslake North on Thursday and lost via forfeit.

Wauconda got a good showing from Nick Churak, who pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave Churak a new career-low in walks (zero).

At the plate, Wauconda got a massive performance out of Luke Sickmeir, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Blake Swanson also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
