Soccer Recap: Thursday's Win Is Silver Creek's Eighth in Last Nine Outings

Silver Creek had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Pueblo County Hornets 7-1 on Thursday. Parker Brown was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Silver Creek is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-1-1 record this season. As for Pueblo County, the loss snapped their winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 8-2-6 record.

Coming up, Silver Creek will face off against Rampart at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Pueblo County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
