Baseball Recap: Chattahoochee County Comes Up Short

Chattahoochee County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They came up short against the Schley County Wildcats, falling 15-0. The Panthers were not able to make up for their loss to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.

Chattahoochee County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mason Kurovski, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Chattahoochee County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Schley County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Schley County has already played their next matchup (against Chattahoochee), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Chattahoochee County will be paying especially close attention to the Wildcats' game: after the Wildcats face off against the Cougars, they'll take on Chattahoochee County again at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
