            Cottonwood Classical Prep hasn't had much luck against Sandia Prep recently, but that could start to change  on Tuesday. The Coyotes will look to defend their home pitch  against the Sundevils  at 4:00  p.m. Both come into the  match bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
Having struggled with four  defeats in a row, Cottonwood Classical Prep  turned things around against Oak Grove Classical Academy  on Saturday. They walked away with  a   3-1  victory over the Owls. Cottonwood Classical Prep's winning goal came courtesy of  Lynex Locke.
 Cottonwood Classical Prep was without their leading scorer,  Mathias George, in Saturday's   matchup. With  George sidelined, the Coyotes had to make some big changes to the lineup. Three players got more time on the pitch than they're used to:  George Patterson (62),  Liam Hein (80), and  James Hacsi (61). The trio had averaged 25.4, 52.1, and 33.4 minutes respectively before Saturday's   contest. Patterson made the most of the opportunity,  putting up one  assist  A few more games like that and  he might be seeing even more time going forward.
 Meanwhile, Sandia Prep kept a clean sheet against Bosque  on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bobcats, sneaking past  1-0.
 Sandia Prep's win bumped their record up to 13-4-1. As for Cottonwood Classical Prep,  the  victory  got them back to even at 8-8-1.
