Soccer Recap: Gonzales Plays to a Tie

Gonzales came into Friday's game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They and the Stevenson Pirates finished up their matchup with a 1-1 draw on Friday. The result (or lack thereof) marked the Spartans' first draw of the season.

Their goal came courtesy of Alessandra Tejeda-Ochoa, who's now up to five this season.

With that draw, Gonzales' record moves to 1-6-1. Meanwhile, Stevenson's record is now 3-1-2.

Gonzales will face off against King City at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Gonzales' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Stevenson, they will challenge Seaside at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
