With a playoff win on the line, Sierra Pacific rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They secured a 66-61 W over the Grant Pacers. The win was familiar territory for the Golden Bears, who have now won nine matchups in a row.

Sierra Pacific got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Apajok Ayuen out in front who posted 18 points. Another player making a difference was Nyang Ayuen, who had 13 points and seven rebounds.

Sierra Pacific was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. They are 20-3 when they've passed the ball that well.

Despite the loss, Grant saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Asia Washington dropped a double-double with 34 points and 23 boards. Washington is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last 33 games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Nerissa Hamilton, who scored 12 points and three steals.

Sierra Pacific's win was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.1 points over those games. As for Grant, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-11.

Sierra Pacific wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 74-63 victory against Atwater on the 6th. Grant does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
