Soccer Recap: Tripoli Comes Up Short

Tripoli was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons, falling 10-0. If Tripoli were looking for revenge after losing 10-0 to Aplington-Parkersburg when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Tripoli's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Aplington-Parkersburg, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Coming up, Tripoli will take on Hudson at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hudson's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Tripoli's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Aplington-Parkersburg, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Denver at 5:30 p.m. on the 24th.
