Soccer Game Preview: Parkview vs. North Gwinnett

For the first time this season, Parkview will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup on Friday. They are taking a road trip to challenge the North Gwinnett Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. Parkview will be strutting in after a win while North Gwinnett will be coming in after a defeat.

If Parkview beats North Gwinnett with two goals on Friday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matches with that exact score. Parkview had just enough and edged out Decatur 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Meanwhile, North Gwinnett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was Mill Creek who was credited with the victory. Mill Creek got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to North Gwinnett's three. PJ MOORE was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

North Gwinnett's goal came courtesy of Mark MISARAS, who's now up to three this season.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-4. As for North Gwinnett, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
