Softball Recap: Washington-Wilkes Tigers vs. Elbert County Blue Devils

Washington-Wilkes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Elbert County Blue Devils, falling 12-2. The Tigers were not able to make up for their loss to the Blue Devils from their previous meeting back in September of 2023.

Kaidyn Porter was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Another player making a difference was Molly Dawson, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Washington-Wilkes' defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Elbert County, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.
