Football Recap: Colonial Forge Falls Short Against Ranked Riverbend + How To Watch

Colonial Forge faced Riverbend in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The game between the Eagles and the Bears didn't end well, with the Eagles falling 41-27. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 34-17 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Despite the loss, Colonial Forge still got an impressive performance from Brock Brimhall, who threw for 204 yards and three TDs while completing 78.3% of his passes, and also rushed for 42 yards.

It was another big night for Ian Shook, who rushed for 159 yards and a pair of scores on only 15 carries, and also threw for 68 yards and one touchdown for Riverbend.

Having lost for the first time this season, Colonial Forge fell to 7-1. As for Riverbend, they pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.
