Soccer Game Preview: Viewpoint vs. Oakwood

The Viewpoint Patriots will venture away from home to take on the Oakwood Owls at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Oakwood took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Viewpoint, who comes in off a win.

Viewpoint's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Louisville as they made off with a 5-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Viewpoint.

Meanwhile, Oakwood didn't have quite enough to beat Immaculate Heart on Friday and fell 3-2. Oakwood have struggled against Immaculate Heart recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Viewpoint now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Oakwood, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Viewpoint took their victory against Oakwood when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Patriots repeat their success, or do the Owls have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
