Baseball Game Preview: Taylor County Vikings vs. Treutlen Vikings

Taylor County will take on Treutlen at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Taylor County is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 12 runs on Saturday, they were much more limited against Westfield School on Monday. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hornets. The contest marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Treutlen played against Dooly County on Tuesday and won via forfeit.

The victory was the third in a row for Treutlen, bringing their record up to 3-0. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 8.0 runs this season. As for Taylor County, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.
