Football Recap: Kennett Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Kennett can now relate to. They were just a hair shy of victory on Friday and fell 35-34 to the Scott City Rams. Even if the Indians couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

Kennett's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Scott City, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

Kennett does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Scott City, they will challenge Dexter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bearcats' defense has only allowed 12.3 points per game this season, so the Rams' offense will have their work cut out for them.
