Basketball Recap: San Juan Hills Drops Season-High Score on Northwood

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask San Juan Hills). They blew past the Northwood Timberwolves, posting an 81-25 win. The Stallions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 22 points or more this season.

Leading San Juan Hills to victory were Anna Shreeve and Adelyn Boberg. Shreeve went 10 of 13 on her way to 24 points along with six rebounds and six steals, while Boberg went 9 for 15 on her way to 21 points. Shreeve's afternoon made it five games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Morgan, who posted seven points and four steals.

San Juan Hills smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in January.

The victory got San Juan Hills back to even at 6-6. As for Northwood, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.

San Juan Hills and Portola will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Northwood, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Murrieta Mesa at 3:00 p.m. on December 26th.
