Softball Recap: Vici Takes a Loss

VICI came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Shattuck, falling 23-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Shattuck this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-0 last Tuesday.

Vici dropped their record down to 1-21 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road. As for Shattuck, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season.

Vici will take on Beaver at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Shattuck, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 12-6 defeat against Seiling on the 13th.
