Baseball Recap: Armuchee Triumphs

Armuchee lost to Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe last Wednesday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Indians walked away with a 4-1 win over the Warriors.

Armuchee's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Armuchee will face off against Temple at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.5 runs per game on average), something the Indians will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe, they will take on Gordon Central at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
