Basketball Recap: Vincent Memorial Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Vincent Memorial couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 56-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Montgomery Aztecs on Saturday. The Scots were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Aztecs earlier this season, when they won 51-46.

Vincent Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Montgomery, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-9.

Vincent Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Montgomery, they will square off against Bishop's at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Montgomery has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 188 points over their last three games.
