Basketball Recap: Louisville Triumphs

Louisville won the last time they faced Highland and things went their way on Saturday too. The Louisville Royals escaped with a win against the Highland Bulldogs by the margin of a single free throw, 48-47. Given the Royals' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 135th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 319th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win got Louisville back to even at 7-7. As for Highland, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-12.

Louisville will challenge Chaminade at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Highland, they will face off against Knight at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Highland is facing Knight at the right time seeing as Knight is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
