Soccer Recap: Millikan Plays to a Tie

Millikan saw some tournament action on Saturday. Neither they nor the Roosevelt Mustangs could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Millikan was without their leading scorer, Bella Nunez, in Saturday's game. With Nunez sitting this one out, Savannah Dorsey got some extra time on the pitch (70 vs. her season average of 46).

Millikan's draw gives them a new season record of 2-1-2. Meanwhile, Roosevelt's record is now 5-1-1.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Liberty the next time they take the pitch. Millikan will head out to face Liberty at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Roosevelt will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
