Softball Recap: Freeman Gets the Win

Freeman won the last time they faced Fort Calhoun and things went their way on Friday too. The Falcons walked away with a 9-6 win over the Pioneers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

Sydney Lenners was excellent, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Jadyn Griffith, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Freeman's victory bumped their record up to 23-12. As for Fort Calhoun, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 19-7.

Freeman didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against St. Cecilia on the 15th. Fort Calhoun does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
