West Branch is on an eight-game streak of home losses, Moshannon Valley a ten-game streak of away losses dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. The West Branch Warriors just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Moshannon Valley Black Knights/Damsels at 6:30 p.m.

West Branch is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Blacklick Valley on Monday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. West Branch was beaten by Blacklick Valley 64-21. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 656th, while the Vikings are ranked 195th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Moshannon Valley). They came out on top against Curwensville by a score of 45-33 on Thursday. The win was some much needed relief for the Black Knights/Damsels as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Moshannon Valley's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-9. As for West Branch, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-11.
