Softball Recap: South Central Calhoun Comes Up Short

South Central Calhoun was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the East Sac County Raiders, falling 29-0. The Titans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Raiders from their previous meeting back in June of 2024.

South Central Calhoun's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for East Sac County, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. South Central Calhoun is set to square off against their familiar foe Storm Lake St. Mary at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, East Sac County will challenge rival Sioux Central at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
