The third road contest was the charm for Laverne, as they earned their first away win of the season. They had just enough and edged out the Hooker Bulldogs 2-1 on Saturday. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Bulldogs on Friday, they had to take a 6-5 loss.

Laverne picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 4-5. As for Hooker, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.
