Baseball Recap: Ridgeland Takes a Loss

Ridgeland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Calhoun Yellow Jackets, falling 12-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 4-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2019.

Ridgeland's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Calhoun, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-12.

While Ridgeland had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
