Soccer Recap: Gate City Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Gate City was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They lost 4-1 to the Cresset Christian Academy Eagles.

Gate City's goal came courtesy of Katie Mulholland, who's now up to four this season.

Gate City's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Cresset Christian Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-2.

Gate City has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association on the 16th. As for Cresset Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-3 victory against Lee Park Prep on the 21st.
