Basketball Recap: South Pasadena Piles Up the Points Against San Marino

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for South Pasadena on Wednesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the San Marino Titans out of the water with a 70-30 final score. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 21 points or more this season.

Kayla Boozer continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 26 rebounds. Her evening made it 20 games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brylee Woo, who posted 11 points and seven boards.

South Pasadena smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 28 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in January of 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for South Pasadena and bumps their season record up to 18-7. As for San Marino, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-15.

As of now, neither South Pasadena nor San Marino have any future games scheduled.
