Basketball Recap: Jurupa Valley Comes Up Short

Jurupa Valley played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Ramona Rams, falling 50-20. The Jaguars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-7.

Ramona got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Olivia Molina out in front who went 8 of 17 en route to 19 points and seven boards. The matchup was Molina's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jaiden Tibbels, who posted 17 points and five steals.

This is the second loss in a row for Jurupa Valley and nudges their season record down to 7-12. As for Ramona, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-3.

Jurupa Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 57-24 loss against Patriot on the 16th. Ramona has also already played their next game, a 52-10 victory against Rubidoux on the 16th.
