Soccer Recap: St. Lucy's Takes a Loss

St. Lucy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Chino Hills Huskies. That's two games in a row now that the Regents have lost by just one goal.

St. Lucy's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6-4. As for Chino Hills, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Lucy's will challenge Los Osos at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. St. Lucy's is facing Los Osos at the right time seeing as Los Osos is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Chino Hills, they will take on Rancho Cucamonga at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Chino Hills' last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
