Soccer Recap: Live Oak Takes a Loss

Live Oak was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 9-3 to the Santa Teresa Saints. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Acorns this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in January.

Live Oak's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Santa Teresa, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-10-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Live Oak will take on Christopher at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Santa Teresa, they will face off against Evergreen Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Evergreen Valley will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Santa Teresa surely won't give up without a fight.
