Softball Recap: Jefferson Academy Comes Up Short

Jefferson Academy lost against Forge Christian back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Jaguars lost 18-2 to the Fury. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ellie Arnold was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Daelin Ruff was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.

Jefferson Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-12-1. As for Forge Christian, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Jefferson Academy is set to take on their familiar foe Peak to Peak at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Forge Christian will square off against rival The Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
