Preview: San Pasqual Valley Warriors vs. Bagdad Sultans

San Pasqual Valley is 9-1 against Bagdad since December of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The San Pasqual Valley Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Bagdad Sultans at 4:30 p.m. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Friday, San Pasqual Valley strolled past Ray with points to spare, taking the game 60-41. The win made it back-to-back wins for San Pasqual Valley.

Kyla Emerson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 32 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals. The contest was her fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Daeja Villicana, who scored 8 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals.

Meanwhile, Bagdad had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past Antelope, posting a 38-10 win at home. The victory was just what Bagdad needed coming off of a 49-5 defeat in their prior game.

San Pasqual Valley's win bumped their season record to 4-2 while Ray's defeat dropped theirs to 3-6.

San Pasqual Valley took their victory against Bagdad when the teams last played back in January by a conclusive 42-22. Does San Pasqual Valley have another victory up their sleeve, or will Bagdad turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
