Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Portal). They never let the Savannah Bluejackets get on the board and left with a 17-0 victory on Wednesday. Considering the Panthers have won seven games by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the third in a row for Portal, bringing their record up to 7-8. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Savannah, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Portal wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 11-0 win against Claxton on the 28th. As for Savannah, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 15-0 loss against Screven County on the 29th.
