Soccer Recap: Germantown Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Germantown was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They came up short against the Memphis East Mustangs, falling 9-0. If Germantown were looking for revenge after losing 8-2 to Memphis East when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Germantown's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Memphis East, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Germantown will square off against Raleigh-Egypt at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Memphis East, they will face off against Millington Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
