Recap: Brashear Bulls vs. Neighborhood Academy
The Brashear Bulls scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Sunday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Neighborhood Academy 60-19 on the road. Brashear has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 29 points or more this season.
Ariana Sherrill was the offensive standout of the game as she scored 33 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Braiya Bowie, who scored nine points.
The victory was the third in a row for Brashear, bringing their record for this year to 7-6. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 32.33 points. As for Neighborhood Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brashear will challenge Obama Academy of International Studies at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Neighborhood Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Hillel Academy on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Pennsylvania (Hillel Academy is ranked 684th, while Neighborhood Academy is ranked 699th).
