Soccer Game Preview: Narbonne vs. Gardena

Narbonne hasn't had much luck against Gardena recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Gauchos will host the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Narbonne fell victim to San Pedro and their airtight defense on Friday. They came up short against the Pirates, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Narbonne can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 997th, while San Pedro are ranked 212th).

Meanwhile, Gardena lost 8-1 to San Pedro on Monday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Gardena were already down 5-0.

Gardena's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5-1. As for Narbonne, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8-1.
