Soccer Recap: Carlsbad Takes a Loss

Carlsbad managed to keep up with Centennial until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Cavemen/Cavegirls lost 5-1 to the Hawks. Carlsbad have struggled against Centennial recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Carlsbad's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Centennial, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carlsbad will look to takes advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they takes on Gadsden at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Centennial, they will challenge Valencia at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
