Softball Recap: North Cobb Christian Takes a Loss

North Cobb Christian and Prince Avenue Christian squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but North Cobb Christian had to settle for second. They fell 9-4 to the Wolverines. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Wolverines: they've now lost four in a row.

Ellie Mitchell was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs. Another player making a difference was Molly Edwards, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

North Cobb Christian's loss dropped their record down to 14-14. As for Prince Avenue Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-4 record this season.

North Cobb Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Prince Avenue Christian, they have already played their next game, a 12-10 defeat against Hebron Christian on the 1st.
