Soccer Recap: Beach Takes a Loss

Beach was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 7-0 to the Long County Blue Tide. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 365th, while the Blue Tide are ranked 177th).

Beach's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Long County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-4.

Coming up, Beach will square off against Groves on Tuesday. Beach has given up an average of 6.9 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Long County, they will head out to square off against Jenkins at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
